Operational Buyer

Key Responsibilities:

• Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and manage them through to delivery including confirmations, expediting and follow ups
• Ensure material availability according to MRP requirements (quantities, deadlines and priorities) while optimizing inventory levels
• Maintain accurate procurement data in IFS (materials, suppliers, pricing, and lead times)
• Request, evaluate and manage supplier quotations, contracts and pricing agreements for approved suppliers
• Apply procurement strategies and standardized processes in line with company and global guidelines
• Generate and communicate forecasts to suppliers and arrange urgent shipments when needed
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, documentation standards and authorization rules
• Handle supplier related topics such as complaints, non conformities, returns and invoice deviations
• Act as the procurement contact point for other sites and ensure clear communication of supply risks, delays and mitigation actions
• Deliver a high level of service to internal stakeholders across locations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and carry out tasks assigned by the supervisor
• Execute sourcing decisions defined by strategic procurement

What we are looking for:
Education

• Diploma or technical education with a focus in purchasing

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operational procurement of technically demanding items in a global environment

Skills

• Language skills: English (C1/B2 level), German (A2/B1 level) and Hungarian
• Solid user knowledge of an ERP system and MS Office applications
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Efficient and meticulous working method
• Process orientation and cost awareness
• High self motivation & resilient personality
